Electronics and Electricity
Changing voltage and resistance you get the current
magnitude.
You can modify the circuit configuration and look to
voltage and current.
You can modify the circuit configuration and look to
voltage and current.
Changing resistance value you can see the change in
temperature of the resistor, due to dissipated power.
Shows the operation of a DC (dynamo) and of a AC generator.
It show how a magnetic flux variation generates a current
in a coil.
You can check the Kirchhoff law by changing resistance and
voltage values.
An animation showing that a Dc current motor is nothing
but the reverse of a DC generator.
You can switch from charge to discharge, looking at the
voltage plot..
This is a demo version (Evaluation Version) of a
complete and up-to-date commercial suite. demop version has some
limitation (some functionality is inhibited, and the number of nodes in
the circuit is limited). It has neverthless no expiration time, and
limitations are compatible with learning purposes. User interface is
firendly, and simulation (transient, Ac, DC) made very easy. A previous
knowledge of circuit theory is of course required.
As every Open Source project, it is a complete ad
unlimited version, for those who own a MacIntosh or have installed Linux
on thier own PC-like computer.
The
gEDA project page is here. A development
windows version is here (look for win32), although dating from
2003.. |
